In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (IHAL Homecare) of Brampton is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Caregivers/Personal Support Worker (PSW's) you will support our clients in Brampton and surrounding area providing Alzheimer care, Auto Injury Care and Senior Care. 

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How you will spend your days: 
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Basic Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role: 
Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

PPE: 
In-Home Assisted Living will supply all necessary PPE (Mask, gloves, sanitizer, COVID Test Kits) 

Covid 19: 
Must be wiling to take a Covid19 test at a private client’s request
Facility setting - Covid testing required in accordance with facility policy
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
