In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (Homecare) of Brampton is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Caregiver/Personal Support Worker (PSW's) you will support our client in Brampton providing elder care. Work setting is within private residence.  Successful candidate must speak Portuguese. 

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How you will spend your days:
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Basic Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role:
Personal Support Worker Certificate or Foreign Trained Nurses, Caregiver with Life Experience
2 years of experience in healthcare is preferred
Current CPR/First Aid Certification 
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour

Shifts:
8 hours per day 
Weekday-days and evenings
Weekends-days and evenings

In-Home Assisted Living Inc. will supply all necessary PPE (Mask, gloves, sanitizer - COVID Test Kits)
