In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (Homecare) of Mississauga is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Caregiver/Personal Support Worker (PSW's) you will support our client in Mississauga providing one on one care within their private residence.  Client is located in Mississauga at Cawthra and Burnhamthorpe. This role requires an Italian speaking caregiver. Role to start as soon as possible. Shift is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm. 

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How you will spend your days:
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Basic Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role:
Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour

Shifts:
4.5 hour shifts
Weekday-days 
Part time

PPE:
In-Home Assisted Living Inc. will supply all necessary PPE (Mask, gloves, sanitizer - COVID Test Kits)

Covid 19:
